to a tavern

Shiro went to a tavern in the downtown area. It was the kind of tavern that had its window replaced regularly. The type that promised action, whether it happened to her or if she just got an interesting show. A healthy touch of seediness, infamy, and strong drink.

The Dragon's Head bore all these signs, inside and out. From the knife-marked door and repaired windows, to the classic one-eyed bartender and various tough and shady figures among the patrons. A near-giantess devoured a pile of informally prepared meat at one table, and an out of place-looking merchant eyed up the crowd curiously.

Whether it was action or her sort of business, it looked like somebody in the crowd would be able to accommodate her.
