She was on good terms with the ninja clans in the area, some particular members especially. She also had faced several impressive fighters in the past from many distant lands that she could certainly like joining forces with. There was Lapelle, the fencer from France that had stripped her of all her clothes before Shiro had emerged victorious. Bara was another, a strong savage from an unknown land whose might have been a match for Shiro's skill. Countless others came to mind, from a rowdy Scottish fighter to an American wrestler to the sadist down at the S&M club who practiced martial arts. She smiled, admiring her list of friends and former foes who proved to challenging.

She also knew there to be some spirits prowling the forest nearby, and a kitsune (traditionally spirit foxes that took human shape) or an oni would make a mighty ally. She could also see if there were any in town who had not signed up already, or if she was truly looking for a challenge, try to find one on the opening day. Perhaps she'd even be left fighting teams by her lonesome...
