stopping time

I got a power that morning - one so far out of the realms of real life, I can't believe it still. It was there, stood waiting for that toaster to finish, that I discovered it. I was standing there. I looked down and saw smoke coming from the toaster. "STOP!" I screamed mentally.

The smoke stopped, and it got quit. Eerily quiet. I looked around then back at the smoke. It looked like a 3D photo. I passed my hand through it, and the smoked moved. I looked down and picked up a fork. I let it go, but instead of dropping, it hung in the air.

"START!" I thought.

The fork clattered to the counter, and the smoke rose. I unplugged the toaster, and made sure there was no fire. I then went outside.

"STOP!" I thought. The world stopped. Birds were frozen in mid-flight. A car was stopped in the middle of the street. I walked to the car. A middle aged man was behind the wheel and looking straight ahead. His window was open, and I put my hand in front of his face and waved my hand. I touched his cheek. It was warm. I walked back to my yard.

"START!"

The car drove on down the street. I looked up at the house across the street. It belonged to my neighbor Julie.

Julie wasn't a knockout - slim figure with small breasts but a nice tight ass, dirty blonde hair usually pulled back in a ponytail and glasses. She was a little older than I was I'd say - about mid-thirties at that time. Whilst she wasn't the sexiest woman I'd come across, there was a real thrill at thinking about a neighbour like that. She did have a nice ass, and I had admired it when she went for her evening walks in her jogging shorts.

"STOP!" I walked across the street. Her front door was unlocked. I walked in and looked around. I found Julie in the kitchen. She was making a salad. She had a bunch of carrots, a cucumber, some baby spinach, and some celery. She was chopping the celery.

Julie ware a pair of khaki shorts and a pink t-shirt. Her hair was in a pony tail.
