As scared as they looked, your classmates are all very talkative when you sit down. As they talk you realise quickly that the problems they're having and the things that make them nervous are the same problems you're having too.

"I just can't figure out this spell," the girl in the book is saying. Her name is Rey and when she removed the book from in front of her face you saw that her ears had been completely replaced by rabbit ears.

Rey is fairly tall and thin, with a mass of black curly hair and strong features. Her jaw and nose are both prominent but you find it hard to concentrate past the ears. "Maybe I should just recast it," she mutters to herself.

The girl snacking on junk is called Jo, and she is rather stocky. Her hair is blonde and very short. "Don't think so," she adds to the conversation. "What you've got to do is do this one. Here."

Jo points to another spell in the book, but this makes Rey frown. It is hard to see what Jo is pointing at, but maybe you should just participate in the conversation.
