At the start, Courtney had already a part of the plan to follow to the station on the east. she was the third car at the east exit of the parking. But a few street later she saw some cars take diferent path than hers.

She realize that the race was also a nerve check, because drivers couldn't check the global progression of the race.

Anyway, a couple of cars seemed to followed the same path of hers.

At the station, Courtney believed she was on the firsts to get there, but she get blocked by another car at the small exit of the station. She didn't want to risk damaging her car so she accepted to loose some seconds, as she believed she could get faster after.

She had now 4 potenital paths to the second station, but she didn't have reliable info on what would be the more efficient. So she follwed the car in front of her as it seemed to have already choose a similar path.

She didn't realise that some part of this path get into some city section with bad reputation. Street gangs didn't like people who raced at night in their teritories. When they saw the car in front of Courntey, they started to throw object at it, and then at her : Soda cans, garbage, some rock or brick.

Somebeer bottles get to exploded on the road a few yards in front of Courtney's tire, laying a dangerous zone of shattered glass. Her skills would be tested.
