after 30 years of battle a delegation from U.S was sent for one last try to stop the bloodshed and sign on a treaty, it failed as the delegation reached the intended meeting place and were ruthlessly murdered on live broadcast by a group of terrorist, a couple of months later the war escalated and nuclear weapons were used what lead to a nuclear holocaust that erased 99.5% of human life from the planet.

Survivor Pedia: The grandaddy of the pip devices, the first and the last of its line, unlike the successors it doesn't save date instead it carries every known survival techniques in existence of the human race, it will teach you to hunt food, worn you of poisonous plants, and its ulso can act as a pocket watch, telling you the date and time, the main reason the military stopped its production was because of its key feature, when the military started its production, they envision a device that will adapt their soldier to any kind of situation, external or internal, with that device the user could fight of any disease known and unknown, the only thing the user needed is a sample and in a matter of seconds the user would be immune, but as the army continued tasting one day when a blind volunteer tried to fix his vision, by giving the device an unknown sample, he got his vision back but with great cost, his body started to mutite and in time he started to grow another set of eyes on his forehead, the scientist found out that the device not only fight off diseases, but tampering with the user's DNA, what lead the military to scrap the prototype and work on the Pip project.
