You hesitate as you think up of what to say to Officer Garcia. "That's a urine sample, Officer. We are required to bring some samples for our chemistry class. We intend to examine the differences between the urine of a male and that of a female."

"Is that why you were in the ladies' restroom?" Officer Garcia looks at you suspiciously. You nod trying not to grin. "And who's your teacher in chemistry?" She adds.

You hurriedly think up of a name. "Professor... Eee... Evans," you say.

"Got yah!" she exclaims. "There is no Professor Evans in the university's chemistry department! I know everyone there!"

"But... but... he said he was just substituting..." you reason, trying to sound genuinely offended.

"Okay," she finally says, handing you back the bottle of #5. "I'll let this pass... but if I find out you lied to me... you'll wish you never saw my face!"

You grin inwardly as Officer Garcia heads back to a waiting police car, not really believing she would fall for such a weak story line. You exhale deeply as you check the time on your phone. Fifteen minutes had already passed. You walk toward the curve to flag down a taxi for the airport, then realize that Nina had left you the key to her car. You quickly retrace your steps and then head to the parking lot.

You get into the car and drive to the airport. You follow the large signage pointing towards the Arrivals area. You ponder whether you should just wait in the parking area, or head inside the airport.

You realize that if you get in, Alice would know that you were late. On the other hand, she may be mad at you for not helping her with her luggage.
