At this time of day there was no queue, just a dad with two kids before us. We got into a gondola and slowly made our way to the top. The sun was basically right above us so we had a good view around without being blinded.
"Woah, look at how tiny the people are! And how beautiful the beach is"
I could tell how excited she was.
"Have you never seen the city from above?"
"No, not until now."
"So you've never been on top of the Birch Hotel roof? That's like triple the height of this thin here."
Now you know where you could take her on another day. But she was right. The view was awesome even from here. I sat next to her. To get her attention I grabbed her hand. She turned around and looked into my eyes. She was truly stunning.

"You're kidding right? I've been waiting for you to make a move since the day Tom brought you to the sports center. But I was to shy to do something about it too, except dropping a few hints"
