Good gods had those four energy blades cost you a lot of your store of Karma Points, but you had those points to spare, apparently you and your sister's having caused the collapse of an extensive pedophile ring had put you into the good books of whoever manages reincarnation to an insane degree, so even with this ship and those swords you still had plenty of points for avatar design and skills. In the end you had to skimp a bit on your lover's level of training, but you were ultimately OK with that, he is your apprentice after all, it makes sense that he would not be as skilled as you.
