a detour.... into a trap

The old cabbie made the newlyweds an offer.

"Since it's your first time, and for no extra charge, I can take you to a casino where they give 100 free chips to the newcomers and a welcome drink. It's also on the road to your hotel. Some say that newly marrieds have more luck."

Daisy Mae believed that they really were a lucky couple, so she was attracted to the offer, and Billy made no argument against free chips.

"Well, thank you very much, mister. Ok, lets go!" said a smiling Daisy Mae.

But, in fact, the cabbie was tring to lure them into a trap, into a mafia controled casino. He had some dealings with the mob in the past and owed them a favor.

The two lovebirds didn't pay attention to the streets the old cabbie took, and for them all the flashy neon facades and decorations looked marvelous.

As the taxi entered the parking garage, the cabbie made a special sign to a guy waiting at the entrance, who then talked into a nearby phone.

Sure, there was free chips for the newcomers and the first draws were made to be "lucky".

And the drinks were very sweet also a little strong. But who knows what those welcome drinks were really made of, and what'll happen after that...
