You and Chloe return to the center of the ring, with the ref standing behind you, as the announcer narrates:

“This fighter was definitely the favorite coming into this match, and they’ve proven here that that faith was not misplaced. They’re always a great pleasure to watch in action, and today was no exception. Their experience and skill have led them to another spectacular victory. Let’s hear it for our winner...Chloe!”

Chloe grins widely as the referee raises her arm, posing provocatively for the crowd. But she only does it for a couple of seconds before looking over at you.

“Hey,” she whispers, “no hard feelings. I know you did your best.”

“Yeah,” you reply, downcast. It’s all you can really think to say as you head back to your dressing room.
