Chapter 4
by Odysseus
Who is it?
Your demon
“Why does my creator weep for such a glorious scene?” Said a nearby voice.
You look up to see a woman standing over you. Or what you can best described as a woman. She (the being looks like a she, but you feel that ‘it’ would be a more suitable pronoun) is standing over you and offers her hand.
You take it and she pulls you up with surprising strength. “O bless’d creator” she spoke “now is not the time for tears.”
The woman had white hair and there was a curved horn that stuck out of the left side of her head. Her skin was purple, or was it pink? It was hard to tell with the only light being the erratic flames behind her. Her eyes were glowing red and her smile, though it looked friendly, was made of sharp fangs. She wore a short black cloak that stopped a few inches past her waist. Short enough for you to be sure she wasn’t wearing any pants, but just long enough that you couldn’t see anything else from this angle.
“I am Eisheth, thy demon. Is my appearance pleasing for my creator?” The woman's voice was soft with a hint of an accent.
This must be my demon. Some part of the ritual worked after all. Maybe some of this chaos can be righted. “D..De..De..Demon!” you say after some difficulty “I command thee to search the village and rescue any survivors.”
[Authors note: the story diverges into two rather different paths here. When you are done with one path and want to see the other, this chapter is where you should return to.]
How does the demon respond?
