You try to fight

You couldn’t run. That much was obvious. The demon would probably just attack the moment you turned around, or the harpies would capture you before you made it into the forest. Even if you made it into the forest there would be nowhere for you to hide, it would be only a matter of time before a demon managed to hunt you own.

What you needed was to end your problems right at the source. You need to kill the Eisheth.

She seemed to be the leader of demons. If you killed her then hopefully the rest of the demons couldn’t function without their leader. They might fall into disarray or vanish completely. Even the worst case scenario sounded promising. Let's say you killed the demon but all the other remained completely. At least you’ll still be taking out the most ignoring thorn in your side.

All the spells you know concerning demons are advance magework beyond anything that you should’ve attempted. You’ve learned your lesson and won’t try binding a demon to your will anytime soon. The basics, however, are spells that can come off your fingerprints with ease. Surely a sufficiently powerful lightning bolt or projectile of molten earth would be enough to put a stop to Eisheth.

“42...41...40…” Said the demon. One third of your minute was up, though you still had more than enough time to figure out which spell to use.

You needed something simple enough that you were certain you would not mess up yet something powerful enough it could destroy the demon in a single blow. There was one spell that you could think of that fit the criteria: Fire.

You raised your right hand and readied yourself to cast. “Ignis hanc cummum assato” you scream as an orb of fire leaps off your hand and towards Eisheth. She doesn’t have time to react before the orb hits her. The spell collides with the demon and everything within a three metre radius of the her is engulfed in an explosion of flames. You laugh triumphantly.
