You say with a nervous smile.

"Whoa slow down Alex!" Ash says rubbing you back. "Look everything is going to be fine... You know what can take you off your mind!" She says comforting you. She then digs in her pocket and whips out three tickets to the state fair.

"Just the three of us! Me you and Dakota going to the state fair. No school, and especially no Veronica." She says as she waves her tickets in front of your face waiting for your response.
