You pass on some information

"I see," you say, nodding thoughtfully. "Well I hope I can live up to your expectations."

"I have no doubt that you'll do well," she smiles at you. "I suspect the girls will do better under you...I mean with you as coach," she blushes deeper at her unintended double entendre, and clears her throat in embarrassment.

"I should tell you something," you say. "Just before I found your office I interrupted what I think may have been a hazing ritual. All the girls involved said it was not, that it was just some horseplay that got carried away, but I'm not sure I believe them."

"I see. What did you see."

"Well, it's a little touchy. I saw a girl on a desk, with her pants off, another girl between her legs. Licking her. While two other watched and encouraged them on."

The headmistress looks at you with an expressionless face. "And what did you do?"

"I interrupted it, and made the girl get dressed. And questioned them about what was going on. They all deny it was hazing, but it sounded like it to me. But I wasn't sure, and it's my first day as a teacher so it's out of my experience. I got their names, and I told them I'd consider my decision."

She nods, thoughtfully, her eyes searching your face. "What are the names of the girls involved?"

You pass her the list of names and she reads it with a look of growing annoyance on her face. "So Miss Cummins appeared to be the ring leader? Hardly a surprise. She has been a disciplinary problem since her first day at school. She is also, I should add, one of the better players on both the softball and soccer teams."

You nod thoughtfully, watching the headmistresses face to try to get a reading on what reaction she expects from you.

"This wouldn't be her first offense, and she has a history of bullying. It might be time to make an example of her. Frankly, last year I came close to expelling her." She gives a sigh, and looks at you. "I will call these girls in and speak to them. I'll let you know what I decide to do with them."

You nod, and are about to get up when she gestures for you to sit.

"On another matter, I'm wondering if you would consider being an assistant coach to the soccer team. Miss Considine is excellent, but she could use some help."

"I don't know anything about soccer," you say with a shake of your head.

"But you know conditioning. And your status as a professional athlete will lend more than a little authority."

"I'm not sure," you say doubtfully.

"Let me have Miss Considine speak to you about it," she says as though you've agreed. "She can tell you better than I what kind of help she needs."
