This is very bad. You cast around looking for an escape route, and see that Alex and Karen have become distracted from their door post. You try not to think what this means for who ever is the focus of their gaze. You stand up sharply, the sound muffled by the steadily increasing din of the room, and pull Linus by the arm... only to find him still seated, fixated on Clarice at the front of the room. The woman is smiling at him, lilac eyes glowing a pure, seductive light, as she saunters towards him, her perfect form swaying easily. Linus won't budge.
