You head to the shack because it’s the most obvious solution

Every step you make sounds many times louder to your ears. You feel fear subtlety creeping up your spine and pitting in your stomach. There are no sounds or movements, yet the light seems to flicker within the shack. As you get closer, you can hear a radio but it’s volume is quite low. There’s a leather jacket draped over a lawn chair and an old bow propped up against the wall. Behind the chair, is a door leading into the interior of the the tiny shack but the inside is even darker than the pitch blackness of the night air. The internal warning vibes are firing off but you don’t really have many choices not to mention the fact it no longer feels like the road you were on itself is already far more unsettling. Eventually you get to the door after seeing nothing useful on the tiny porch, but the light. It was electric and built into the ceiling of the porch. You take a deep breath and put your hand on the door handle. In trepidation, you push it open and step inside while closing your eyes.

There is no danger or attack or loud scary sounds or apparent traps activating. Slowly you open your eyes and nearly fall down from shock. It’s light again but you don’t recognize where you are. It’s a beach but clearly not the one you were heading towards. It’s bright and cheery out. White sandy rock cliffs cast a murky blue shadow over the beach a few hundred feet ahead. In the water you spot what appears to be a brand new monoreme style Argos ship sailing past and heading to a dock just beyond sight of the cliffs and the curve of the beach before you.
