Eventually, she removes her hands.

"So," you ask with a nervous laugh. "Did you find anything?!"

"Well, I have good news & bad news," she replies.

You think to yourself how the good news rarely matters when someone leads with that.

"The good news is I don't think you have cancer," she adds.

You sigh jokingly.

"The bad news is I don't think I can be sure unless we check each other further," she adds, before slowly lowering to her knees.

As she reaches for your waistband, you surprise yourself by grabbing her hands in your own & stopping her.

"But that guy's going to be back in, like, 10 minutes!" you remind her. "I honestly can't tell you if it'd take longer than that or not!"

She stands up again, still holding hands with you.

"So what do you wanna do?!" she asks.
