You find out who he is

The young man continues to look down at you, as you desperately try to hold back your tears. You are trying to take in what has happened realising that you came very close to dying.

You try to stand up, but the burning pain in your ankle and your leg make it very difficult. After a great amount of effort, you manage to pull yourself up to your feet, and you turn around and look at the young man. He looks at your leg, realising that you have hurt it. He kneels before you and places one hand on your damaged leg. You immediately feel that the pain numb and find that you can stand easily. You smile to yourself amazed at how your leg has been fully healed.

Your brief happiness fades away and is replaced with the distress and fear. He starts to look concerned and he starts to try and make conversation.

“Hey can you tell me your name? I’m Cam pleased to meet you” he says in a cheerful voice, clearly trying to distract you. You don’t say anything for a few moments.

You look up at him and reply in a soft, weak voice, “I’m Emma.”

“If you follow me I can take you to a place where you can be safe from those things, it has food, running water and heating," says Cam starting to walk off into the direction of the College. You swiftly follow him.

Cam leads you to the building containing the pool area. Outside the building, you see the small girl from the woods. She has been crying but when she sees Cam, you see relief flood over her.

Cam smiles at the girl and then tells her to open the door. You hear some scraping sounds coming from within the pool. The three of you stand in silence as a large shield is moved away from the entrance to the pool. The three of you enter the building; you notice a demon pushing the shield back into position.

Cam takes in a deep breath and then says, “So, time for introductions.” He points at you, “This here is Emma”. He then gestures at the girl from the woods, “Emma, this is Evie.” You and Evie nod at each other. You look back at Cam and see that for some reason he looks slightly amused.

“Evie, could you take Emma to the showers please, I’m sure she would appreciate getting herself cleaned up a bit.” says Cam. Evie nods at you and beckons for you to follow her. You follow her into a large shower room.

Wordlessly, you and Evie start to strip off. You pull your slashed clothes off and then walk into a shower, and start to wash yourself. Evie does the same. Suddenly you start to hear splashing sounds coming from just outside the shower.
