Chapter 7 by takacube takacube

What's next?

You explore your new body

There wasn't a time when you were in the hospital that you weren't more than a bit curious at the changes in the body you now found yourself in, though with the wires and tubes and the constant flow of nurses in and out of the room to check up on you, more than a cursory glance when you went to the restroom was out of the question. You had known of TJ by seeing him around the school and from assemblies and even the occasional spotlight on the local news covering high school highlights. Especially entering into his Junior year, TJ blossomed into one of the star players in the district, garnishing multiple awards and playing games during summer leagues and competing around the country. There was no sense in denying that he had earned the coveted 5-stars for recruiting college athletes and you had heard the gossip in the teachers' lounge about the amount of scout interest in him.

Well, let's be real, about you now.

TJ was easily 6'5", maybe 210, 220 lbs, thick calves and thighs, very stout in structure. He wasn't hairy either, which was a surprise, but you supposed that it was something that you didn't have to be as self-conscious now about (having been rather weary of hair after Pam had made an off-comment once about it). TJ was very lean, probably very low on BMI, and as you turned in front of the mirror, you noticed the way that your shoulders were very square and broad from behind. He was a young man growing into himself and now, at 17, you were taking over from him with the possibility of a lifetime commitment to reaping the benefits of some rather good genetics.

You slipped off the shirt you had worn from the hospital and flexed a little, smiling a bit as you watched the muscles react in your body. It was YOUR body now, TJ and you were one and the same, so it was enough to convince your mind to at least, for all purposes, accept that you were looking at yourself, a young black man. In your mind, you knew the issues that would now face you, anything from the judgment of police and white people against you, to the stigmas of the system that was set up through years, decades of history...hell, "woke" and "reparations" were already being tossed around the household by your two new sisters but Tanya, for her part, had shushed them up pretty quick.

Thinking of Tanya, though, you noticed that there was something else that raised in your mind, something both primal and very fundamental to you and your new life as TJ. TJ may have done things and been things to people but now it was your life, your chance, and you definitely had some ideas on how to change things around. You had regretted not being more outgoing, more social in high school, having been relegated to the third tier of social ladder status, barely noticeable and equally as forgotten. Now, though, you were at the top, there was energy and anticipation in your new school settings, and you were going back to school in a few days. Steve Meadows had been buried, that happened during your hospital stay (Pam had thought it was for the best), there was no going back. TJ was here to stay.

That meant that you were now going to figure out your first step in your take-over of TJ. That meant the start of your move.

First target? Tanya.
