You answer the door

You snap to attention and get up from your desk. You open the door to reveal your towering colleague Ben, a huge grin on his face.

"Quittin' time!" Ben beams. "What'd you get up to all afternoon with your door closed? Get lots of data analyzed?"

You don't particularly want to tell your friend where your mind wandered this afternoon, or get into too much detail about the admittedly dull duties of one of Kuranes' data analysts.

"Oh, you know," you reply. "There's always lots to do in this office. Sometimes I'm tackling a mountain of reporting, sometimes I'm doing some hard number-crunching, and other times I'm.. completely zoning out for several hours on a Friday."

"Sounds like a pretty good day!" Ben says with a laugh. "Anyway, this morning I mentioned grabbing a beer. It's a pretty nice day, so Tara and I were thinking we'd walk over to Murphy's before hitting the road, maybe have a drink and a burger. You want to join us?"

"I don't really want to be a third wheel," you remark. "It's sometimes a little awkward when you are sitting there and I feel like I'm crashing your date night."

"Come on, Henry," Ben says, mock-pleading. "You're one of my best friends. You might be my best friend. And you're one of the few people in this company that both Tara and I actually like. Trust me, it'll be a good time, and much less of one if you're not there. Join us."
