You Tell Zoe The Truth

"Elaine stopped by." You began. "She sent a package here for some reason."

"What was in it? Something scandalous?" Zoe asked with a devilish grin.

"Uh, kinda. It was this weird sci-fi gun." You answered. "Apparently she used it to possess me. Just to hang some paintings or something though."

Zoe raised an eyebrow. "Have you been smoking something?" She asked. "Because that's insane, you know that?"

"If you don't believe me, just go next door. Chances are, she'll shoot you with it to water a plant or something."

"I'll pass. If you're not full of shit, I'd like to stay in control." Zoe said before shaking her head. "She wouldn't just use your body to hang paintings, right?"

"She's short. She probably can't reach high enough."

"That's not... I know you're a blockhead, but you do understand right?" Zoe asked. "If you possessed someone, wouldn't you check out the goods first?"

"Oh. You're saying..."

"Yeah. I am." Zoe said. "God, I never wanted to talk about this kind of stuff with you."

"Trust me, I never wanted to either." You said before there was a knock at the door. "Think that's Elaine?" You asked before walking over and opening it up.

"Hey..." Another of your neighbors mumbled. It was Rosa, someone you'd met only once or twice. She was a total recluse. "Are you good to talk now?"

"Yeah. Why?" You asked. Rosa tugged her oversized hoodie down, covering the very bottoms of her short shorts. Her glasses were foggy and her cheeks were red. What was going on with her?

"Did you... Did you mean what you said today?" Rosa whimpered as she tugged her hoodie more, making her already large boobs more pronounced. "In the laundry room..."

"Huh?"

"Re-Remember?" Rosa whispered. One of her hands stopped pulling on her hoodie and moved to your shirt. "About you and me?"

"Oh! Remember!" Elaine suddenly shouted, having appeared behind Rosa. "You told me about it! You scooped her up and carried her to the washing machine, REMEMBER?"

"Oh yeah!" You shouted. You realized what was going on.

"And then you kissed her forehead and promised her a date?" Elaine said as a bead of sweat rolled down to her chin.

"Yep! Still planning on that, Rosa." You lied. Rosa buried her face into her hoodie, although you could see a slight smile. After a few seconds, she walked away. "What did you do as me?!" You hissed at Elaine the second Rosa was out of earshot.

"I had to pick up my laundry!" Elaine said as she put her hands in the air. "She was sitting there crying and I was a handsome young man! I couldn't just ignore her!"

"But now you've roped me into that!"

"I'll just possess you again and deal with it myself!" Elaine suggested.

"That does not fix the main issue here!"

"Hey, Elaine." Zoe said as she crept up behind you. "What else did you do as my brother?"
