You're in the jailhouse now

In your grief you lose track of time and direction, only realising the car has stopped when the cop opens the rear door and assists you out. You're at the back of a plain concrete building, the only feature a heavy steel door with a key pad lock. He holds one of your slender arms as he escorts you, turning you so you can't see him punch in the code, then pulls you inside.

You're in a short corridor with another heavy door at the end. He opens that and leads you into another corridor, then through a second door into a short corridor with four cells. The light is so poor that you can't see if any of them are occupied. He opens the nearest door and pushes your inside. He holds your shoulder and removes your cuffs, then steps back and closes the door, locking you inside.

"Please, I haven't done anything wrong," you whimper, finally finding your voice. "Please sir, I'm innocent."
