You're going to need help..

You sigh softly, brushing the dirt from you quickly before taking her hand, admitting to yourself that you're not really cut out for the road ahead. You introduce yourself properly, and state your intentions.. This seems to catch Faelyn's interest.. "Your love's been taken, and you just.. set out after her?" She tilts her head "With no hired help or proper training?" You nod meekly, implying that nobody in the town was really interested.. Faelyn simply hangs her head, shaking it at the thought of such a pitiful town.

"Well, I don't intend to help you get her back, but I'll accompany you as far as I can.." She gives you a small bow "It doesn't seem right letting someone like you go it alone." You're.. a little offended at that, but you get what she means.. You tell her of your plans to go south, and she seems to agree, but warns you quickly "The swamps to the south are dangerous.. luckily you'll have me at your side."

You nod, thanking her for her generosity, and the both of you set back out. It occurs to you quickly that you never really asked her where she's from, or where she's going, or why. You consider asking all of the above, but you're not entirely sure if you should look a gift Elf in the mouth, maybe you should just hope for the best..?
