The breakfast is good as ever, the guy might have put you through the most harrowing experience in your life so far, but at least he is a decent cook.

The next few days pass rather uneventfully. You go to the local physician for the most awkward consultation of your life. You ask her to check on your rear to insure that nothing is broken. While it is rightfully sore, there doesn’t seem to be any lasting damage. The doctor chuckles a little and recommends you spend a few days resting and try to be a little less adventurous in future.

Beyond the visit to the physician you spend the majority of the time at Marks house getting pampered. Mark genuinely seems to care for your wellbeing; whether it is out of a sense of guilt or some ulterior motive, you can’t tell. Does it really matter anyway? The man is a wonderful cook, and he is willing to cook anything for you, at your whim. You watch a few movies together in the evenings and play some party games on his console, which he always wins despite your best effort. Luckily, you didn’t bet anything on these games.

While spending time with Mark is nice, the real reason you don’t go out much is for fear of being challenged by another trainer before you are fully rested and ready to deal with possible consequences.

Finally, after 4 days you feel ready to head out again, you almost feel sorry having to leave this life of luxury. When Mark sees, you all packed up and ready to leave, you can see the disappointment on his face, clearly he wished for you to stay longer. Despite his poppy dog eyes you say our goodbyes and head for the door.

“Sky wait before you go I have a request” Marks words stop you with your hand on the doorknob. You turn to face him expectantly, what could he possibly want. “Okay… let’s hear it” you say apprehensively worried what he might have in mind. “Thank you, you see-“ he begins before you cut him off, “I haven’t agreed to anything yet, “ you hastily remind him. “Yes right of course” he starts again, “you see I never got a chance to enjoy you the other night, since I was busy playing host. I was hoping to get a chance to experience what I missed out on before you go.”
