"Sure. You know you're always welcome. I just thought you weren't really into hetero and gay sex, even watching it," Kat said, clearly misunderstanding why Rachel wanted to see Brad.

"That's not why I'm here," Rachel said, walking into the dorm room. Being closer to Brad, she could clearly see the branding on his chest. "You have it too," she said, mostly to herself.

"Have what?" Kat asked.

"That mark," Rachel said, pointing at it.

Kat and Tom exchanged confused looks. "There's nothing there," Kat said.

"You mean, you can't see this?" she asked, pointing at her own branding on the palm of her hand.

Both Goths shook their heads "no". Huh, I guess because I'm the one who cast the spell, I'm the only one who notices the mark, Rachel thought to herself. Interesting.

"Well, it doesn't matter. I just need Brad to help me out with something," Rachel said.

Kat looked concerned and a bit perplexed. "Why do you need Brad?" What could her friend possibly want with a jock? It certainly wasn't for anything sexual, as she knew Rachel was a lesbian. So what was the reason?

"I'll explain later. But right now, I really need him to come with me." She wanted to use Brad to deliberately change someone specific, instead of letting the reality changes spread in a directionless manner.
