While there was a part of her that was telling her that getting into the backseat with a boy was a bad idea; there was a small voice inside of Allison that was telling her that it was ok and that she needed this. With that, the young woman got out of her seat and into the back with Jason.

For what seemed like days, she cried and cried. Allison told her friend every pain and every problem she was having. Her aunt was gone, and it looked like her life was falling apart. She loved her job, but it was starting to feel like a dead end. She was barely holding it together.

“And I haven’t had a serious relationship. Like ever.” the young lady said to her friend

“I know, but I also know that the right guy for you is out there somewhere. You just gotta believe in yourself” he said to his friend

“Oh Jason I wonder why you are in the same boat with me? You’ve always been so dependable. I can always count on you to help me. Why hasn’t some lucky lady snatched you up yet?” asked Allison

“What can I say? I’m picky about who I date. Like you are. Sometimes I wonder if I found her, but I’m unsure.”

“What do you mean?” his friend asked

“I mean…..” the young man seemed unsure of what to do or say

“It’s ok. You can tell me.” she took his hand in hers

That solidified his answer. He knew what he had to do. Jason took and lifted his friend’s face up and kissed her solidly on the lips.

A million things were running through the blonde’s head. What on earth was happening? What does this mean? Why is he kissing me? But chief among those thoughts was a significant decision. Should she stop him or should she return his kiss? A large part of her said she should prevent this, but that small voice from before told her she should open her mouth and accept his kiss.

Jason pulled back a bit and kissed his friend again. This time with more passion. The young woman knew she had to decide now.
