In the void that was Jessica's mind, a voice screamed for Jessica to return to her normal state, to fight the corruption. Jessica could faintly hear the small scream. Eventually, it got louder and louder. Jessica started to listen to it, to understand it. Thats when she realized that her impluses were not of her own. She started to fight them and subdue these instrusive thoughts. As she did, she lost memory of what she had done just moments before. She looked around and saw Gale was gone and she had an odd taste in her mouth.

Jessica didn't know what just happend, but whatever it was, it wasn't good. She tried to remember, but it felt draining to attempt to do so. She decided she should go back to work.
