As I came up I saw mom washing dishes and I went to her

“Hey mom, can I show you something?”

“Not now honey I’m busy right now”

“Don’t worry it will only take a moment”

And I double tapped her hand

“What are you—“ and she freezes for a second before coming back “doing”

“Oh nothing so mom I wanted to ask you for a raise in pocket money?”

“Oh no you just got it and you should learn to control your finances”

“Damn it it didn’t work”

“But if you really want to I guess I could give you a raise but still you should learn to control your finances it’s an important life lesson”

Wait a minute did she really just have me money. I have to test it more to know if it worked

But first to be safe “mom where’s Natalie?” (His sister)

“She’s at her friend’s house and will be back by tomorrow”

“Ok then mom can you double my pocket money please?”

“Double?? Are you kidding me?”

“No mom. I’m not kidding. I’m serious”

“I don’t want to but I guess if you really want me to then I suppose I could do it”

“Really thanks mom”

As she washed the last dish my excitement was growing more and more. While I know she wouldn’t have given my money but I still need to be sure. I need to know what she is thinking to make sure she is herself doing all this and not something like body is loyal but mind is not sort of situation. But I need to be careful maybe this was all just a coincidence.

As she started walking towards her room I followed her. As she sat on her bed I spoke

“Mom sleep”

She immediately went limp and fell backwards. From this I knew one thing if I order to do something she will immediately do it but if talk to her normally and say please then she would tell her true feelings, while following my order. (Just like in the case of pocket money)
