You nod to let the doctor know you understand and brace yourself. There's a sharp poke as the needle finds it's mark, then... nothing. Confused, you look back to see what is happened. The syringe is empty, it's contents inside you now, and the doctor is looking at you expectantly. Hadn't he said...

The air is knocked out of you as the injection finally starts to work. It feels like someone just threw a ball at your stomach full ****. The fur on your bottom half stand on edge, as if you are expecting to be attacked. You can't breath as you feel your magic work to create your new womb. Off to the side, unnoticed by you or your doctor, the dead plant in the window sill comes to life and blooms a deep, rich red color. Your injection is a success.

Collapsing onto the table, you struggle to catch your breath. That... That definitely wasn't like what your birth father had explained to you.

"Take your time to catch your breath." the doctor says, "Let me know when you're ready and I'll start my next examination. After I confirm that your womb has formed, you'll be free to go."

It takes a few minutes. Your magic is thrumming under your skin, making it a bit hard to catch your breath. It feels a bit like when you cast your spells, but this time... The magic isn't listening to you. It has it's own agenda. You do eventually gather yourself and the doctor is able to continue his work. He confirms your womb is in place and allows you to leave. Your guards are waiting for you at the front of the building, ready to take you home. You're grateful they are here right now. You don't think you could properly defend yourself right now with how out of control your magic is feeling. Hopefully your fathers don't expect you to interact too much when you get home, not like they speak with you very much at all these days. All you want is to curl up in your bed and sleep.
