"Why thank you." I say, smiling as the bartender goes off to get my drink ready. Nigel quickly leans to me, whispering "Anything for a pretty lady." I never had someone do that to me before and I have to say, it felt kind of nice. Knowing that someone's eyes are entirely on me.

I never really got the chance to take a good look of Nigel. His face seems quite a bit handsome and his short black hair fits his tanned skin perfectly. His eyes went right into mind, practically reading through the green color. I quickly shy away and turn, noticing the clear glass of orange vodka.

"Here you go miss." the bartender said, walking away to another customer.

"So...Catherine was it?" he asked, knowing full well what my name is.

"Yep, and you're Nigel. We're in the same English studies class." I reply and both of us sharing a laugh. I take a sip from my drink and was it unexpected. It burned my throat and made me feel all warm in the inside and from what it seemed, it diminished my sense. And it felt good.

We talked for a little while and I could see that he was getting a little touchy, rubbing my arm and touching my knee at any given opportunity. His hand rested on my knee and I thought that maybe this is going to lead to somewhere a little too far...
