Chapter 15
by Gryma.sss
How do you answer mr Alexander's question?
Yes sir, I have.
You lie.
You've worked with mr Alexander since right after college and you've never lied to him. Until now.
You looked him in the eyes, hoping he won't see any falsehood in yours. You shut your notepad and did your best to project confidence, while you felt a cold feeling of panic in your stomach. You instinctively pushed your chest forward. Your mind is racing, trying to come up with a solution. This campaign can't be that different then others, right? Maybe you should meet with mr Fink in a few days, trying to get more information?
"That's my girl!" Mr Alexander gives you a wide, proud smile - a smile you don't deserve. A smile that only makes you feel bad. "Then start working, I'm sure you'll do well as a leader." He says and returns to his papers.
"Oh, and Minerva?" He stops you just when you're about to leave his office. You freeze. Is he about to ask you about something related with the campaign? Or has he noticed your stuffed bra? You feel your cheeks burning up. You feel ashamed, scared and... aroused?
"You look very nice today." He says and smiles to you again, turning the page.

The daemon's plaything
The fall and rise of Minerva Rivers
Story of Minerva Rivers, an intelligent, driven and successful manager, who one day finds a strange package at her doorstep. [Some additional information: The narrative in 1st person (and italics) is Daemon's POV. I have included some variables for potential use later in the game, but for now they do not have a specific purpose. Last but not least - this is my first story here, so comments, suggestions and ideas, as well as some technical pointers, are very much welcome!]
