You shake off your conscience, having come too far to stop, and slip the placebos into her bag. Looking quickly, you see she’s scraping paint and head out to join her. As you exit the cabin, she looks up at you.

“Wow, John, for a nerd, you don’t look half bad without a shirt,” Mariah says.

“Gee, Mariah, thanks,” you say.

“Oh, I’m sorry, John. I ... um,” Mariah stammers.

“Don’t worry, Mariah, I happen to be a nerd, so it’s not really an insult. But to answer you question, a couple months working in this boat has done a lot for me,” you say with pride on your voice.

You both get down to work scraping the boat in the morning heat. From time to time, you see as Mariah keeps glancing over at you, apparently, despite your history, liking what she sees.

“Man, this is work,” Mariah says, after several more minutes. She stops scraping and stands up grasping the hem of her dampened shirt. You hold your breath, as she draws her shirt over her head revealing her breasts, hiding behind the top of a bikini. You dick hardens painfully, as your memory draws you back to the night in the shower when you thought that every fantasy you’d ever had since puberty had come true. Eventually you tear yourself away from her milky white skin, to realize she knows your staring. Meeting her gaze, you can see she’s just as turned on as you. As the tension lengthened, a boat horn blares from a neighboring pier, breaking the moment.

You take a deep breath, looking at the work you two have accomplished. Seeing that it was done, you turn to the galley.

“Okay, Mariah, let's head in for a bite to eat and do some studying,” you say.

Mariah nods and follows you in to the galley. You open up the fridge, taking out two bottles of water, handing one to her.

“Thanks,” Mariah says, as she takes the pill bottle out of her back to take her medicine.
