Chapter 4
by McPokerface
Did She?
Yes, yes she did.
Deeply. Although perhaps, she loved her friend more than just that. After all, who else had been there for her when she needed it the most? Who else had stood alongside her through trial and error, through battles and barricades? Who else had banged their heads against the brick wall of life with her, had given her the utmost support?
No one but Ylva.
And... Truthfully, Amaia did love her. More than she loved herself, even.
But the prospect of loving a friend, much less another woman... It terrified her. Even worse was the thought of losing her best and only true friend, to lose the one she cared for so much over nothing.
Besides, she wasn't gay. Hell, she was in a relationship with one named Tyler, a sweet lad who she knew she cared for greatly...
As another friend.
And only as that.
He was nice. Lovely, even. He was kind-hearted, understanding, and sweet. He was very caring, too, ensuring she never go unhappy in front of him, and yet knowing when to give her space and time.
So why was she not in love with him? Why did she make her feel like this, and not him? Why did she only feel the butterflies whenever Ylva was around, why did she only smile when she laughed, a true, genuine smile?
And what would she do?
What next?
A Series of Love.
A Series of Lives.
Stories of love, passion and lust, told through many perspectives.
