"Well, you'd lose your tits as you got bigger, and at that rate you'd might as well be a man," she laughed.
She had not counted on Amy's sensitivity on the subject. There were warning signs of her starting to cry when Emily corrected herself.

“I’m only kidding, of course! It’s totally your call if you want to do this.”
“I know,” pouted Amy bitterly. “I’d just like to think that my best friend was behind my decision.”
Emily sighed. “Look, whatever you decide, I’ll have your back, okay? Is that fair enough?”

Amy sniffled a bit and looked at her meekly. “Then you’ll be willing to help me work out? I was thinking of starting today…”
