Jake sighed in relief. He looked down at his chest, and noticed that the puncture wounds had stopped bleeding, and were slowly healing. Within a minute, there were only half a dozen scabs. Jake, though, still felt light-headed from the blood loss.

"So, I can go?" Jake asked.

"Yes", Tariq replied.

Jake turned to the door, desperately trying to get away. He hobbled forwards, but before he reached the door, Jake felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned, his heart beating. Tariq was standing behind him, a bloody smile on his face. He held out his hand. Jake looked down, and saw {if@ Red cube=false}four objects within it. Three were silver coins. The fourth object was a blood-red cube{else} three silver coins within it{endif}. Hesitantly, Jake took the objects. Nothing dangerous happened. Jake breathed a sigh of relief. He looked up to thank Tariq for the gifts, but the vampire had vanished.
