Yeah sure

“Amber listen… I’d be happy to have you come visit.”

You never could refuse her. She squealed on the other end of the line. Holding the phone far from your ear you smirked. She acted like such a child sometimes. She’d be in the real world soon, you wondered how she would adjust when she got out of school.

“Okay you’re all settled in right? I don’t want to be a bother.”

“It’s fine Amber, I’ll warn you that my place isn’t fully put together yet but you’re still welcome to visit.”

“Okay okay, so you live in Eden right what’s it like there? I heard that the town is really nice.”

You went through your mental files on good marks and spoke without thinking, “The east end of town is the place to be. The rich people live over there in the section of town they call The Garden. The west side of town is another story. Still people who can make ends meet but they aren’t the ones buying sports cars to go to parties with movie stars. They call that side of town West Egg… um well that’s what I heard at least.”

“...So which side are you on?” She asked choosing ignoring your ranting.

“I live pretty central, more to the east than west but I’m not living large.”

“You think you could get me into one of those parties?” She laughed while you gave the question real consideration.

If you had a bit of time you could easily break into one of those mansions and change the guest registry. Who knows how much time you really had though. It was Monday now, if you could convince her to come on Saturday you could throw something together and use the excuse that you don’t want her to miss school.

“Hey Amber when are you planning to come out here?”

“Oh well I was going to come visit tomorrow.”
