Yeah, duh

You get to learn how to surf and get to go on a date with a cute girl, it’s a win win! “Sure, I’ll give it a shot” you say and take the board. The lion scoffs “Well Dawn, when you’re done you can join up with us, come on Peter” the intimidating lion says and walks away with Peter in tow.

“What’s his problem?” You ask Dawn “Don’t worry about Adam dude, he’s just a bit protective” Dawn says as you both walk into the cold water. “Is he your boyfriend?” You ask a little defeated, thinking you already know the answer “Adam? Ha! Nah, he’s not my type. So you got a name?” Dawn asks you. You sigh in relief “Wallace, Wallace Cray” “That’s a cool name dude! sounds like the name of a badass cop” She comments as you both wade deeper into the water. You laugh a bit “nah, I’m just a normal boring office worker. So your names Dawn?” “Yeah, kinda a boring name, but it’ll do” she says as a gentle breeze flows through the air “Well I think Dawns a beautiful name” you say with a smile “Aw stop it, I’d say it’s alright. Now we gonna surf or what?” She says, a slight blush on her cheeks. You chuckle and reply “Just tell me what to do” she plops her board onto the water and starts explaining “okay first thing you wanna do...”

You spend the next couple hours learning to surf. You’re pretty bad at it at first, but Dawn’s a good teacher and you end up catching on pretty quick. She only giggles slightly when you wipe out hard and immediately helps you figure out what went wrong. You’re also able to sneak in some side conversation when recovering between falls. You find out she’s a bit of an artist and likes to paint in her off time, well, when she’s not surfing or chilling with her friends. You learn as well that she’s currently working as a life guard on this beach, currently she’s off duty but you wouldn’t mind seeing her in uniform. Also her favorite food is Mac n cheese. “Look!” Dawn shouts suddenly and points to the waves. You look and see the biggest wave you’ve seen all day. It wasn’t huge like you’ve seen on TV, but with you in the direct path of the wave, it might as well have been a Tsunami. “Alright my student, this is your final test. If you can surf this one, you’ll offically be a surfer” She says, and starts to wade away to give you some room. You’re slightly terrified, but you’ve come this far and you’re not quitting now. You lay on your board and paddle towards the humongous wave “you’ve got this! I believe in you Wally!” You hear Dawn shout as the wave gets closer and closer...
