Wow, the price of vegetables has gone up... Ashley's going to be really sad.

That's the bright side in the days I work organizing the shelves of the market: I stay on top of the prices. And it helps me save money in monthly shopping.

Despite being a tiring job for standing up all the time and carrying weight, I don't have to deal with rude clients. Besides, I can listening my favorite songs.

I finished the shelves and noticed a strange movement. Some customers ran while others tried to hide...

Was there a robbery going on?

I started looking down the halls, trying to walk as slowly as possible without drawing attention.

Until I saw two people in the cleaning section. A man was holding a woman's arm while screaming for money. They had their backs to me.

Wait, this woman is familiar...

Hey, he was holding Katie!

At that moment my body was taken from an adrenaline rush and I found myself running towards them.

I jumped directly into him, taking him to the ground with me. I felt a slink to my left foot, but the adrenaline made me ignore any pain.

I got up quickly, Katie looked at me in shock.

"Run away!" I shouted

It took her half a second to associate the whole situation and ran away.

The man stood up with fire in his eyes.

"You're dead you little fucker" he said

I tried to punch him in the face but he swerved easily and hit my abdomen. Leaving me without air.

After that, It felt like a movie...
