Wolf Girl Mystery Squad

Our protagonists are a group of girls who have been inseperable since they were kids, and remained so after they came out as wolf girls. Unwilling to split up and unable to find an owner who would adopt all of them at once, they moved into a pet café. This is an establishment where people can order coffee and pastries and enjoy them in the company of various pets, like the real life cat café.

Unlike a pet shop where human pets wait for owners to adopt them, living at the pet café is a long-term arrangement. The girls earn their stay by helping around the kitchen, taking orders, serving food, and being affectionate with customers. Of course they can refuse if a customer gives off bad vibes, and they can end their stay when they're ready to move on.

Our wolves have been living like this for a few years, and everything has been great except for the sketchy looking men that come in once in a while. None of the cat girls at the café will come close to them because of the way the men stare at them, and even the other girls hope they leave quickly after they've recieved their orders, though the café proprietor seems dismissive of their concerns.

When one of the cats disappears without a trace on her way out to the dumpster, minutes after the men had been there, the wolves know she must have been kidnapped! But who are these men, and where would they have taken her? With no evidence to bring to the police, they'll have to solve this mystery themselves.

This prompt was inspired by a conversation with pistachio about cat cafés and the Cat House, an underground brothel where cat girls are prostituted against their will.
