Chapter 17 by brevdravis brevdravis

Reveille

Woke by a Canary

"Sam ... SAM..." The hand on Sandy's shoulder shook her gently, and woke her from images of being caught naked in school.

Sandy opened her eyes to find that Kelly was in full regalia, this time wearing what looked like a black bustier coupled with a black leather jacket. She was also shaking Sandy's shoulder in a vigorous motion.

"What time is it... ?" Sandy grumbled, taking in the room. Nathan was still in bed and the sounds of his deep breathing were an interesting background noise.

"Time for the Cosplay Breakfast! We're meeting at the Denny's and I need an escort!" Kelly spoke brightly.

"What about Nathan?" Sandy asked, pushing the covers of her makeshift bed down.

"Don't tell me ... Ok, if you want to pretend you weren't listening last night, I won't bring it up." Kelly smirked, "but I know you were."

"Ok, so, can I have a few minutes to get ready?" Sandy asked, moving her feet free of the last of the blankets.

"Sure..." Kelly stepped back, her eyes roaming over Sandy's form. For a moment, her gaze lingered at Sandy's crotch before she stared back into her eyes with a knowing grin. "Morning wood, eh?"

Sandy flinched internally, realizing that during the night she had knocked the sock into a position that caused it to bulge rather noticeably. With slight embarrassment, she turned her body, trying to hide the protuberance from Kelly's amused gaze. Quickly grasping up her overnight bag, Sandy took the few steps necessary to get her to the bathroom with the maximum amount of speed necessary.

"I didn't say I minded!" Kelly called across the room as Sandy quickly shut the bathroom door.

Sandy looked into the bathroom mirror, taking in her appearance. She looked embarrassed, flushed, and had no stubble whatsoever. None of which matched the typical appearance of a guy just getting up. Time to change that.

She quickly took a token shower, mostly as cover for the fact that she needed to give her breasts a break from their binding. It wasn't the most comfortable way to disguise oneself for long periods of time, and the warm water cascading over her body removed the last vestiges of sleep and lubrication from her. She was amazed that she had spent the entire night like that, but for the illusion that she was presenting, it had been necessary.

"At least tonight I get a bed." She mused, vigorously toweling her body. Returning to the sink, she rapidly assembled the items needed to present herself as a man. She winced with soreness as she rewrapped her chest, then proceeded to dress herself in the most casual of jeans and t-shirt she could. The t-shirt was the only special item, vintage, and emblazoned with a Veritech fighter from the eighties. That left only a quick sock to tuck once again, and she admired the admittedly retro figure in the mirror.

When she emerged from the bathroom, Kelly was standing patiently. Sandy took in her form and tried to recall what the costume was that she was wearing. She had said something about it earlier, but Sandy was damned if she could remember her comic book characters. That particular fandom had so many permutations that telling the characters apart was nearly a full time profession.

"So, you're going as ... eighties fanboy?" Kelly joked, pulling open the door to the room. Sandy glanced to the right and noticed that Nathan still hadn't stirred from where he lay.

"I don't cosplay." Sandy replied, for a moment reflecting on the irony of that statement.

"Ah, c'mon, we get you a blue wig, a uniform, and you could go as ... what's the name of that guy on that giant robot show?" Kelly pointed to the t-shirt.

"Max? I'd need glasses." Sandy pulled the door shut behind them.

"That'd work! You'd be cute ... er." Kelly giggled, grabbing Sandy in a side hug. Sandy thought about what she had said the previous night, and how quickly she had gotten Nathan to completely abandon his claims of fidelity.

"Oh god, she's putting the moves on me." Sandy thought, a twinge of panic running through her. She extricated herself from Kelly's arms with an apologetic smile.

"Kelly, I ... I'm not..." Sandy tried to think of the easiest way to let her down.

"Oh, I KNOW you don't have a girlfriend, nice try." Kelly giggled, walking ahead of Sandy with a seductive wink over her shoulder. "And don't worry, I'm not going to **** you."

She stopped, then turned and stood with her hands on her hips.

"Unless of course, you want me to."

"Uh, no thanks." Sandy answered. "I'm not ... I ... Look, it's not that..."

"Close your mouth, you're going to attract flies." Kelly grinned, stepping forward, and taking Sandy's arm. "You're cute when you're embarrassed."

Kelly led Sandy along, through the halls of the hotel, down into the lobby. For her part, Sandy was VERY aware of Kelly's closeness, the brushes of her hands, and the constant seductive comments. Of all the things that Sandy had expected, this was absolutely not even on the horizon.

Cosplay Breakfast!
