After wrapping up my workout and changing into street clothes, I drive to the closest wine shop and inquire about champagne, showing the picture of the original label. The woman seems familiar with it and directs me to a case that has an equivalent champagne going for $100 per bottle. Inwardly I groan at the expense. Outwardly I thank the woman and ponder my options.

It’s going to cost me $300 to replace all three bottles and keep Victoria off my back...

Oh look! There is an endcap display next to me. It has cheap sparkling wine from California for $20 bucks each. It isn’t technically champagne, but the label is designed in the style a simple French chateau that looks just similar enough to the original label to not be an obvious fake.

I sweat a little as I weigh my options. {if Money < 300}The fact is, I just can’t afford the good stuff right now. Thankfully, the money I lent to Rachel is going to be paid back tomorrow... I guess I could apologize and ask for another day to replace the bottles.{endif}
