Your house has bars on the windows and the sound of gun shots and police sirens were a fact of life growing up. But lucky for you, you had good grades and were the star soccer player at your high school. Through this combination you have managed to get a scholarship at the local community college, which came with free accommodation and free education. Hey its not much but it'll get you out of this dump of a street.

Most of your friends and neighbors are of hispanic and african decent, making you somewhat of a novelity on the street. Nothing racist was ever directed at you but you did get your fair share honky and cracker jokes.
