Rookie trooper Jessica 'Jess' Loeven was alone on routine traffic patrol when she observed a young black male driving a SUV. The rear windows were tinted, but the front windows were open. Trooper Loeven manoeuvered her police cruiser behind the SUV and turned on her sirens. After a moment, the vehicle pulled over to the side of the road.

Trooper Loeven stepped out of her cruiser, tucking her blonde hair up under her hat. She walked up to the window, her right hand on her holstered pistol. Loud rap music blared through the open window.

"Keep your hands where I can see them!" she directed. "Turn down that music!"

"Whatsamatter, girl?" the driver replied smoothly. "Don't like music?"

"Don't address me as 'girl', sir," she warned. "I'm Trooper Loeven. License and registration, please."

"Loeven?" he laughed. "Like, white girl needs her some lovin?"

"It's Dutch," she explained impatiently. She glanced through his window and could see some computer or electronic equipment on the backseat. "Now don't make me ask you again..." She immediately drew her pistol and pointed it through the window as she noticed him motion towards the glovebox. "Hands up!" He complied immediately, and she opened the driver's side door. "Get out! Face down on the ground!"

"Be cool, bitch!" he muttered. "Just getting my paperwork!"

"Oh yeah, well I reckon that's stolen property," she said as she pulled him out of the vehicle towards her. "I don't suppose you have a receipt for it?"
