Maintaining a perimeter was the easy job. It meant you got out with your boots on, marched about the area in teams of three within covering distance, had a wide open view, and got to see everything going on within easy backup from the rest of the squad.

Teams of three were spread out all over the perimeter, no more than fifty to sixty meters at most, covering one another with weapons, yelling out orders, and with frequent communications coming in through the sensor net and Colonel O'Hara's improvised Command post.

'Twitch's' Squad was a group of Amazons from the southern continent. It was always extremely hot and humid there, like a jungle. Ancient monsters had always populated it which the women of the tribe had always fought against. It had been an ancient rite to hunt them to become an adult. Having fallen from popularity in the recent centuries since joining the Federation, it was still a tradition that the women were prideful of for it's history.

Twitch would let out a sigh as she would march, "Ten meters apart girls, don't get bunched up. Each of you cover one direction." Occasionally switching it up while the group would maneuver, the fireteams paying strict attention. A few hundred kilometers away, Twitch would look at the glorious figures of the tight bodysuit clad elite Rangers parading around a few hundred meters away from everyone. It was enough to take anyone's breath away. Including nearly every girl in the squad. Twitch would have to snap her head. "Keep it bouncing ladies."

One of the members of her squad giggling, "They're definitely bouncing all right.." To which all of the women would let out a sigh of appreciation.
