What is that noise?

As Eveline was about to choose where to go suddenly a noise caught her attention coming from a cave that she had not seen before. Though she did not remeber it from the night before. The noise was coming from the heart of the cave and her curiosity got the best of her. The darkness was staggering and a quick spell would allow her sight. Eveline literally with a free hand put a hand through the darkness and the shadows manifested into a physical object. Taking that darkness then she placed it onto her eyes and now she could see through the blackness. The strange noise grew and faded from time to time, though she continued to to fallow it. Though the farther she got the closer she could smell blood and knew that this was not going to be easy.

Following the blood she then heard a groan now, one filled with agony. It sounded like a man's voice. Eveline was arrogant and by all means she was not the kindest of person's but she wasn't going to let a person die cold and alone just waiting to be eaten by some creature. So after a moment of concentration she was able to find the life signs after speaking some arcane words. Though what shocked her was that this man was not the first body she found. It was of some kind of reptilian creature that were huge in stature but after taking a gander at the thirty bodies she found they were all killed the same way. Long precise slashes that held burning ash at the edges of the wound. Eveline identified such marks as the sign of a sword imbued with flames. This guy could be dangerous if he was packing some magical enchantments.
