Chapter 4 by GenericEditor168 GenericEditor168

What do you see?

What else? The inside of your abbey.

You look around. Your body is as you made it, an Incubus dressed in the robes of an Abbot, a few small trails of demonic fire flickering around your body.

In front of you, there is a series of pews, all of them empty and looking like they have been that way for quite some time. An imposing pair of double doors lies at the far end of the church, and light comes in through the (somewhat dusty) stained glass windows.

Rather than depicting holy scenes they depict scenes of depravity. For instance, where a traditional, "good" church would have an image of the Virgin Mary, your church has an image of a succubi, showing off her "assets".

You step around the pulpit, and head down the aisle and out of the church.

The church is built in a small garden. Outside the church's door is a fountain, featuring a succubus with water spraying from her nipples. Looking around, the garden contains two small chapels, small stone constructions. Each has a leering gargoyle positioned over the door, as well as two windows with the flaming circle engraved on them.

The garden itself consists of gravel paths leading between rows of purple and red flowers. There are stone benches every so often. It seems quite peaceful and relaxing, but you know that the stone benches are only there so that lovers wouldn't have to do it on the gravel.

You walk down the paths, and open the doors out of the inner cloister.

Outside the door is an open sqaure, overgrown with grass that grows in colours not found in the world you now find yourself in. To your left is the cells, though as befits an incubus's abbey they are well-furnished rather than being nearly empty like the ones in human churches. You know that there's twenty five cells there, giving you a reasonable troop capacity (when you get some).

To your right is the kitchens and the storehouses, both plain stone buildings with appearances that bely the pleasures inside. Yes, Incubi, though they are demons of Lust, are not blind to the pleasures of the other sins, and enjoy rich food, even if they can only feed on sex.

Well, this is all very pretty, but what good is it in game terms? You open up the menu, and scroll through. Where's the "Building Features" option... Oh? "Game Terms Vision"? Sounds like it might be what you're looking for...

You enable it, and look back at the kitchen and storehouse.

Kitchen - Provides food for up to fifty people. Notes: Able to produce Decadent food - Morale improves faster among troops who are supplied from this kitchen, but costs 50% more Food resource.

Storehouse - Stores up to 10 000 of each resource, plus up to 100 special items. Current resource levels: Food - 0, Stone - 0, Wood - 0, Ore - 0. Special items: None. Notes: None.

You look over to the cells.

Cells - provides Comfortable accomodation for up to fifty people. Current occupants: none. Notes: Built for Incubi. Can accomadate supernatural beings, but cannot accomodate large beings.

You head back in to the inner area, and look around.

Chapel (2x) - Increases Faith regeneration by 20% for Religious troops/heroes. Max. five in each. Notes: consecrated to the Infernal religion.

Garden (decorative) - Increases morale recovery among troops designated as having access to the area. Notes: Could also be turned into a Garden (food), which would produce 100 food resource a day during a season (specified on build).

Fountain - Increases lust magic casting ability for troops/heroes in the vicinity. Notes: Demonic - affect only applies to Evil troops.

Church - Training area for Religious troops/heroes. Allows for Preaching (increases morale, requires an hour and a religious hero or trooper. Increase based off skill of preacher). Provides room for one hero. Notes: consecrated into the Infernal religion.

Well, that's a good starting base. Now then, you need to populate it... You delve into the menus once more, and pull up the world map. Zooming in, you find your abbey, and then look around the area a little.

According to the map, there's a goblin lair, a human village, and an abandoned tower in your area. You close the map and think for a bit. Where to go, where to go...

Where to go to find some troops?
