Well, read it and find out

" Matthew, I know about Kyra. Meet me at the main campus Library tomorrow at 9:20"

"You know, when most people write out mysterious notes in an attempt to be mysterious, they usually don't write it in their handwriting. Kinda ruins the whole mystery."

You sat across from Anna, slowly sipping on some Starbucks that you got in preperation to meet with her just as her note said. After reading it, you had to admit you were a little freaked out that someone knew about your secret. However, upon rereading the note a couple times, you noticed that the way the "9" and how "Library" was capitalized. This all pointed to Anna as the mysterious note writer, which come today turned out to be correct. However, a couple questions were still unanswered. One: How did Anna know? Two: Had she told Kyra? Three: Why the note?

Thankfully, those questions would be answered before you even had a chance to ask them.

"Well, I had to tell you to meet me somehow without Kyra finding out. I mean, it's pretty obvious to me watching you that you like her, but I can tell she is completely oblivious."

"Yeah, but I would like to point this out. We have the brand new invention that you may have not yet heard of. It's called... "text messaging." I know, brand new and high tech, but I am sure you can figure it out."

Anna rolled her eyes. "My god, Kyra has been rubbing off on you. She used that exact same insult when I used the note trick on her."

You raised an eyebrow at this statement. "Wait, you used the same trick on her? Why?"

Anna's face turned red, realizing that she let slip more than she wanted. Quickly she turned away and began to twiddle her fingers nervously. You brought your hands together and stared down your friend. "Anna... C'mon. You gotta tell me now."

She let a small grumble loose, before looking back into your eyes. "Okay... I may have... also asked Kyra to meet me a couple weeks ago to figure out if you had a chance or not."

You could feel your heart drumming in your chest. "And?" You asked carefully.

"Well... Um... I asked her if she had feelings for you. She asked me why I was asking, and I told her that I was just curious and-"

"Get to the point, Anna."

"Um... I sorta said that I thought that you had feelings for her and I wanted to know if she had the same feelings."

"... So... you told her that I have feelings for her."

"Well, no. I told her that I THOUGHT you had feelings for her, and wondered if she did."

You rub the bridge of your nose, letting loose a large sigh. Anna was always there for her friends and quick to care for others, but damn did she act a bit oblivious to subtly sometimes. "And, pray tell, what did she say?"

"She said that was none of my buisness. But she didn't say no!"
