Well, it's water, but...

As you get closer, the image doesn't fade, but becomes more and more clear, more and more real. Soon, you're standing under the small palm tree and looking down at a pool of water that is far less than desireable. The pool is less than two feet in width, and it appears that the water isn't what you might consider clean.

You look at the pool, wondering what might be floating in it, giving it that odd, brownish color.
