You smile at the occupants of the room as Mr. Gavin ushers you in. It's a large room, decorated with chairs and couches, and populated by men in tuxedos. Six of them. Eight, including Mr. Gavin and Mr. Chandler.

"Gentlemen, let me present Lisa Carter and Amy Terrence," Mr. Chandler announces, smiling at the assembled men. "Ladies, Mr. Gavin will take over the introductions from here." The two of you are led around the room, introduced in turn to the prosperous, immaculately groomed men. Two are senior executives of the company, three others appear to be clients, and another is an influential alderman who is rumoured to be running for mayor in the next election. All of them greet you with charm and grace, chatting easily with you and Amy, and flattering and flirting with you.

Mr. Chandler brings you both glasses of champagne, and you sip and giggle as you chat and flirt, loving the attention of men, particularly wealthy men. Amy almost glows as she basks in the masculine attention, smiling and preening as they talk.

"Unfortunately, ladies," Mr. Gavin interrupts, "Tthe other feminine elements were unable to attend tonight. However, that means that you two beautiful young woman will be the centre of attention. I hope that isn't too much of a burden." You smile, finding yourself the centre of a group of four men. Mr. Chandler refreshes your drink, as another man does the same for Amy.

"Here's to you two, and a great evening," Mr Chandler says, smiling and raising his glass. "Hopefully you enjoy it as much as your trip to Cancun." You feel a flicker of alarm at his words, glancing into his face but seeing only a warm and friendly smile.
